The Saxon Stories[]

Sigurd was a Jarl in the Danish-held lands north and west of Mercia. His son son was killed by Uhtred years earlier.

In "The Empty Throne", the sword that later became Raven-Beak, was taken from the corpse of Sigurd by Uhtred Uhtredson.
