Sack of Dinefwr was an event which occurred in The Saxon Stories novel series, and The Last Kingdom television series.
The sack had occurred in 911 when the Dane army of Sigtryggr assaulted and sacked the castle of Dinefwr, the capital of Deheubarth. The Danes made the castle their new base.
