Ealhswith (known as Sihtric's Wife in the TV series) is a minor character in The Saxon Stories novel series, and The Last Kingdom television series. She worked as a prostitute when she met Sihtric who fell in love with her and the two later married.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Wessex; Sihtric has asked Uhtred if he can marry her during their way to Winchester. Uhtred says he will let him know later. Later, Gisela is seen trying to convince Uhtred to let Sihtric marry her despite the fact that she is a prostitute. Uhtred later allows Sihtric to marry her.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

Winchester, Wessex; Sihtric is sitting down in the town with his wife and son. Uhtred is walking by and tells Sihtric that they'll be leaving soon for battle. Sihtric appears very excited for which his wife hits his arm for. He just replies that he's a warrior. ("Episode 3.1")
