Battle of Dunholm was an event which occurred in The Saxon Stories novel series, and The Last Kingdom television series.
The battle was fought in 880, King Guthred sent his commander Uhtred to lead an assault on the fortress of Dunholm, which was held by the Jarl Kjartan. Uhtred and his foster brother Ragnar, stormed the walls and killed Kjartan and his son Sven, avenging their family.
